This weekend I ventured down to the big smoke for some Christmas shopping and some much need relaxation – however relaxation was the last thing I could have experienced. London was absolutely jam-packed. Two weeks before Christmas this was hardly surprising. The streets were bustling with frantic shoppers and the queues were unbelievable ! Nothing was stopping me though.

First stop was the West End and a 6am wake up call to go queue for Matilda tickets. My cousin Debra and I decided we would go early Friday morning and queue to avail of the £5 student tickets that the Royal Shakespeare Company give out at 10am to the first sixteen people in line. Luckily for us when we got there, we were first in line. Absolutely buzzing, the two hours flew by and we were set. It was absolutely worth it. The show was incredible. I would 10/10 recommend…
